It’s pretty interesting, really, this whole thing. I find it’s just a whole new world to explore, and to help explore myself. To see how people feel about the things I know and love and how I would feel about the things they have to say. The title of this blog is from a poem I wrote a few years ago. Don’t misunderstand me, I’m no poet, but I do love creativity. Poetry is just one of things. We all have it, it’s part of who we are. Some of us are just more in tune with it. Like a thicker sense.

  1. I like the idea of ‘thethickersense’ and your intent, great to express yourself and allow others to share this, especially people who know and understand your creativity. I hope it catches on and certainly would love to add some of my crazy ramblings when I can learn how to translate into earth language. Maybe Robin Williams may visit this Blog to express his feelings or even vent his spleen – now that is possible, with no country borders and the difference between waking up on one side of the world whilst going asleep on the other side. Hey Robinnn Wake up! I may not be good at writing poems and in fact not good at writing at all; may just jot down the fine things that I think about in life, here we go: wobbs, scallywags, gum trees, cockatoos, smudge, chocolate, movies, walking, bike riding, pineapples, lollies, rum and slacking, gardens and vegetables especially grown at home, spending money, cream on apple tart, sweets (again), action films, action at work, order and chaos (not necessarily in that order), peace and harmony (and not necessarily in that order), port, BBQ’s, no mossies and/or midgies, more birds, listening to my children play music, and hearing their sense of crazy humour, climbing mountains, feeling the air rush past my body travelling at 124 MPH with nothing attached…. in fact there is not much that I don’t like. maybe that will be where I input next. TOFF

  2. Cool blog! I love creativity. I love poetry. I love the two together. I love writing. I love words. Really good stuff you got here – keep it up!

  3. I believe creativity exists in all of us too and we can explore it in everything we do πŸ™‚ Love the arts and even things that may not seem like “art” become art once we infuse it with our personal touch. Great blog!

  4. You know, I wish I had started reading your material a year ago! I’m almost through all the posts, and just keep thinking how cool it is to express in the way that you do! I greatly appreciate you sharing your work with us, and thank you for your support as well! πŸ™‚

  5. Welcome to the adventures found in the world of blogging. It never ceases to amaze me. Thanks, too, for visiting my site, Source of Inspiration. I look forward to exploring your posts. hugs, pat

  6. I am often amazed by the creativity of other writers. They inspire me to keep going even when I feel blocked.. I’m looking forward to all you share. Thanks for sharing your blog.

  7. Thicker sense. I like it. A lot. And I understand not calling yourself a poet. I won’t call myself an artis though my pictures hang on my walls.
